“Dandara Layan” is the name of a project, not a company. The official project website names CODA Company Limited, registered in Choeng Thale (Thalang District), as the developer of the Dandara residential complex in Phuket. We found no other public information about the company — its history, completed projects or shareholders. Nor did we find any link to the British housebuilder Dandara: only the name is shared, and the developer says it means “land full of stars” in Thai.
The project is large: according to its website, 16 residential buildings with 1,368 units plus three 300 m² villas on a 3.8-hectare site, about a kilometre from Layan Beach. When a development of this size comes from a company with no public track record of completed projects, the documents and the schedule are what matter. Ask for proof of land rights, the building permit and the approved EIA, check the timeline for each building and the penalties for delay. The legal entity on your contract should be CODA Company Limited.
