About the company
The Panora projects come from the property arm of the Thai MIDA group. The parent, MIDA Assets Public Company Limited, was founded in 1991 as Nakhon Pathom MIDA 1991, an electrical appliance retailer. In 1997 it took the name Mida Assets and moved into hire-purchase sales, and in July 2003 it listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the ticker MIDA. The company is headquartered in Bangkok.
Hire purchase of home appliances and motorcycles, plus car loans, is still the group’s core business; MIDA also runs hotels and a golf course in Kanchanaburi. Real estate is handled by Mida Property Co., Ltd., which MIDA Assets says has been developing since 2009, with projects in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi. Mida Property’s own website is dominated by houses and townhouses in the provinces; the only condominium in that section is The Panora Pattaya.
That is why our catalog shows the developer under two names, MIDA Assets and Mida Property. They are not two separate developers but a listed parent company and its development business.
What their projects are like
The Panora line consists of resort condominiums designed around sea views. In Pattaya the group has delivered two very different formats: a high-rise tower on Pratumnak Hill and a low-rise complex on Ban Amphur beach in Na Jomtien. What they share are sea-view pools (including an infinity-edge pool high above the street), a gym, a sauna and children’s areas. According to public sources, the same line includes a Phuket project, The Panora Phuket by Mida Grande Resort Condominiums.
Projects in Thailand
- The Panora Pattaya — a 38-storey tower on Pratumnak Soi 5, completed in 2022, with a pool on the 4th floor, an infinity-edge pool on the 29th, and studios, one- and two-bedroom units.
- The Panora Estuaria — four low-rise buildings (NARA, PANA, KIRIMA and SAMUTTRA) on Soi Na Jomtien 22, with 264 apartments and a handful of retail units, opening directly onto Ban Amphur beach; handover is scheduled for 2026.
What buyers should check
- Who the seller is. Different sources name MIDA Assets, Mida Property or Silvan Property Co., Ltd. as the developer. Before paying, confirm which legal entity signs the contract and holds the land title and building permits.
- A short condominium track record. The group’s core is consumer finance and low-rise housing, and in Pattaya it has one completed tower so far. See how the management company and juristic person perform at The Panora Pattaya — it is the best guide to what Estuaria will be like.
- Estuaria’s status. Public sources disagree on completion (anywhere from July to Q4 2026) and on the number of floors, so check actual progress and the handover date in your contract.
- Foreign quota and views. The beachfront project has a limited number of sea-view units; ask which of them are still available under the foreign quota.
- Public disclosure. Because MIDA Assets is listed on the SET, its reports are publicly available — a useful source of information on the group as a whole.
