Delmare Bangsarey

Delmare Bangsarey condominium in Bang Saray is a beachfront high-rise south of Pattaya, in the Sattahip district of Chonburi province. Officially named Del Mare Bangsaray Beachfront Condominium, it was developed by Apus Development Group and launched in 2013 together with Porch Land Group. The project is a single 33-storey tower with 399 units on a plot of about 7,424 sq m right next to the sand. Construction was finished by 2017, so condos for sale in Delmare Bangsarey are now offered on the resale market.

Location

The tower stands on Soi Na Jomtien 56, on the shore of Bang Saray bay. Bang Saray Beach is roughly 50 m from the building, with direct access from the grounds. Bang Saray itself is a quiet seaside village rather than a busy resort: Central Pattaya is about 18 km away in a straight line, so a car or motorbike is useful for trips into town. In return, many of the best-known attractions of the southern coast are close by, including Nong Nooch Tropical Garden (about 3 km), Silverlake Vineyard, the Khao Chi Chan Buddha mountain, the Ramayana and Columbia Pictures Aquaverse water parks and Ocean Marina Yacht Club. U-Tapao airport lies in the same direction, further along the coast.

The building offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, including duplex layouts. According to agency listings, sizes start at around 41 sq m for one-bedroom units and reach 190 sq m for the largest homes; the units currently in the More Property catalogue range from 51.3 to 190 sq m. Views are the main draw: thanks to the height of the tower and its position at the water's edge, apartments look out over the sea, the bay and the surrounding hills. At launch the developers presented the project as the first high-rise in Bang Saray.

Who it suits

Delmare Bangsarey appeals to buyers who put a beachfront setting, open sea views and a calm atmosphere ahead of nightlife and shopping malls. It works well as a permanent home by the sea, a long-stay winter base or a family holiday apartment, and the larger two- and three-bedroom layouts are practical for families. As a rental, it is aimed mainly at guests looking for a quiet beach break rather than a city stay. As in any Thai condominium, up to 49% of the total unit area can be owned freehold by foreigners (the foreign quota), while the rest is held under Thai quota or through a company.
