Water park

Water park, in full Water Park Condominium, is a low-rise, resort-style condominium on Pratumnak Hill in Pattaya. It was developed by Heights Holdings, a company known for resort projects built around large pools, and completed in 2015–2016. A single 8-storey building contains 210 apartments. Despite the name, this is not a water park but a residential building designed around water and leisure: Water park condominium in Pratumnak, Pattaya has two swimming pools, one at ground level and one on the roof.

Location

The complex sits in a lane off Soi Pratumnak 6, on the southern slope of the hill, next to The Winner building. The Pattaya Park Night Plaza market is about 300 m away, and Pattaya Park Tower with its actual water park is around 650 m away. The nearest beach is the northern end of Dongtan Beach, roughly 900 m in a straight line, so it can be walked, although many residents prefer a motorbike or a songthaew. The Big Buddha at the top of the hill is about 450 m away as the crow flies. Thappraya Road, with its songthaew route between South Pattaya and Jomtien, is around 500 m away, and Walking Street and the Central Pattaya seafront are a few minutes' drive. Cafés, massage shops and small stores operate in the surrounding lanes.

Apartments

The building is made up mainly of compact studios of about 25–27 sq m and one-bedroom apartments from 35 sq m, with a small number of two-bedroom units. More Property's listings here range from 27 to 45 sq m. Apartments were handed over fitted, with a European-style kitchen and a balcony. They look onto the pool and inner courtyard or towards the greenery of the hill and the city; from the upper floors the sea is visible in places. The modest floor areas are offset by the shared spaces: much of daily life here happens by the pools and on the roof.

Who it suits

Water park works for holidays, winter stays and letting: small apartments are easy to maintain, while the rooftop pool, sauna and gym give a resort feel inside the city. Families will appreciate the kids' pool and playroom. Buyers who need more space or a beachfront position should also look at neighbouring buildings on Pratumnak. As in any Thai condominium, up to 49% of the total unit area can be registered in foreign ownership (the foreign quota); the rest falls under the Thai quota or is held through a company.
