Olympus City Garden, also listed as City Garden Olympus, is a large low-rise residential community by the developer Global Top Group. Sales opened in 2016, and most property portals date its completion to 2022. The scheme has 6 buildings of 8 storeys and 1,060 units on about 8 rai of land, and each block carries a Mediterranean-flavoured name: Apollo, Barcelona, Corsica, Delos, Eden and Florence. Olympus City Garden condominium in South Pattaya is laid out as a self-contained neighbourhood, with gardens and swimming pools running between the buildings.

Location

The complex is on Soi Kor Phai 4, just south of South Pattaya Road and close to Third Road. This is a residential part of town rather than a beachfront one: the southern end of Pattaya Beach is about 1.3 km away in a straight line, so most residents get there by motorbike or taxi. Everyday city life is close at hand, though. Tukcom shopping centre on South Pattaya Road is roughly 700 m away and Walking Street about 1.3 km, with Bali Hai Pier, the departure point for ferries to Koh Larn, and Pratumnak Hill a little further on. The surrounding lanes are full of cafés, small shops and local markets, and Aksorn Pattaya School is nearby.

The buildings are arranged around shared leisure grounds linked by walking and jogging paths. On site you will find:

Because the buildings are low, there are no sea views: windows look onto the pools and the landscaped courtyard, or outwards to the neighbouring streets and city rooftops. The architecture follows a European and Mediterranean theme, with gardens and fountains. When comparing units, it is worth checking the building, the floor and which side the apartment faces.

Who it suits

Olympus City Garden appeals to buyers who want a small apartment in town with resort-style grounds, whether for wintering in Pattaya, living here long term or letting the unit out. It is a big, busy community, and the sea is a ride away, so anyone set on living by the beach should compare it with buildings closer to the shore. As in any Thai condominium, up to 49% of the total unit area can be registered in foreign freehold ownership (the foreign quota); the remainder is held under the Thai quota or through a company.
